Used for my wine club blind tasting, the Judgment of Paris recreated, and paired against a 2002 Chateau Lynch-Bages. This one edged out the Lynch-Bages. Big bold Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bosche vineyard. Interesting fact I learned from researching this for the tasting is that cuttings from this vineyard were used to graft on rootstock for the Heitz Martha's Vineyard plantings. Still has dark red color and bold nose with oak and blackberries. Very firm on the palate, moderate tannins, minimal acidity, lovely burnt oak barrel flavor as a background for dark berry flavors. Long finish, similar profile to the palate. This wine still has legs, maybe 5 plus years in the bottle. Love this wine!

Not a bad wine. Would buy a bottle again if I came across this vintage. Still has some good structure so I assume this bottle could go another 7-10 years without any issues.

This drank perfectly. Fruit just seems like it's starting to fade. Dried cherry, dried plum, and hints of leather on the palate. Smooth tannins. Black cherry finish. Drink it now or in the next two years.

Wonderful. Still drinking very well. Smooth, complex, moderate berry and tannin left, delightful.
