Incredible bottle - drank like it was only 10 years old for my daughters birthday. Still had fruit, plenty of depth, excellent rich red color. Amazing bottle!

Opened to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary at Flemings. Slight barnyard upon opening but the cork was only half saturated and in one piece, within 5 minutes a glorious Cabernet Sauvignon nose of red cherry, baked cherry pie, red currants, and a touch of earth greeted me, same on the palate, mouth filling fruit, medium body, elegant tasting, held up throughout the entire dinner which lasted 2.5 hours, long, flavorful finish.

Lovely bright red color in the glass, no orange on the edges, nose of dark cherry fruit with hints of cranberry and plum, more of the same on the palate with lots of old cabernet style to taste, lovely, cabernet finish and aftertaste with a pinch of acid. 41 year old winner for $37 at auction.

What a special wine. 40 year old Napa Cab. We were a little worried as my neighbor who brought it said the first bottle was not very good. Drank from a mag that was purchased from the winery. PNP.... Upon opening it showed band aid and blue berries with candied cherries on the palate. After an hour we smelled strawberry rhubarb, bled cherry, pie crust, cigar box and worn leather. On the palate beautiful acid, fully integrated tannins, baked cherry pie, wet leaves and forest floor. Very nice to experiences wine that is well Aged and still so drinkable. Great with our rib Eye steaks.
