Moss Wood Zoom Vertical tasting. Screw-cap Drank in Grassl 1855. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of integrated wood toast oak, blackberries, blackcurrant, black cherries. Developing. On the palate, dry, rounded high acidity, medium+ alcohol, slick almost soft pillowy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blackberries, black cherries, blackcurrant, dark cassis, integrated toast oak with spices, dark herbs, ripe capsicums, eucalyptus and savoury dark olives. Long finish. Very good quality. Complex. Years ahead.

Purple colour pouring from the bottle, concentrates to very dark purple/red in the glass. Decanted 2 hours. Does not leap from the glass. Fruity nose, blackberry, blueberry, spice, bay/herb, vanilla. Palate is smooth and rich, medium bodied. Still fresh and fruity, lots of blueberry, some cocoa. has some Malbec vibes. Very long finish with fine and powdery tannin. Elegant and exquisitely balanced in flavour and texture.
Loved it

Delightful and stylish. Medium bodied. Red and dark fruits. Gentle tannins. Slightly lifted sweet spices - cinnamon, clove, star anise. Perhaps even a little floral. Well balanced across the tasting experience. Still very youthful
