NobleRottersSydney - Marg River & Great Southern (Fix, St James, Sydney): {screwcap, 14%} [Paul] Perfection, this. Aging curranty cabernet, cedary oak, balanced palate, rich but not sweet or alcoholic. Medium-full weight, finely-oaked, medium acid. Seems like it could hardly get better, yet no decline is apparent. Long, fruit-driven but, in the end, savoury finish. Lovely stuff.

Powerful without being overblown. Powerful fruit, with integrated tannins. The balance is on point. Close now, but in another 5 year this will be outstanding.

This is still too young but a Moss Wood that is showing promise and not a one dimensional wine that Moss Wood sometime suffers from.
Juicy and fresh, it has life and zest that makes it a very enjoyable drink. Has violet, cassis, mint and eucalyptus aromas. Body is more of the same except it has the depth and complexity that you don't always get with a Moss Wood. Tannin and oak are beginning to settle down and integrating nicely. A lovely wine with good potential.
Drink from 2027 to 10+ years from then. If you must drink now, decant it for at least 3 hours.

Has softened considerably. Closer to Napa than Bordeaux. Ripe Cabernet with bay leaf.
14%, screwcap.
No rush but drinking well now.
