A 3 L purpose made deeply "carved" bottle from my 35th college reunion, in my cellar for 10 years. I read the last 2 tasting notes and since I have 30 folks over tomorrow opened it tonight to sample and enjoy it. Fine clear garnet color to the edge. 30 minutes after uncorking at cool cellar temperature. Fine cab nose-spice. Full bodied. Fine cab flavors-some earth. Nice long finish.

(Mount Veeder Winery Cabernet Sauvignon) Bricking medium dark red violet color; maturing, appealing, ripe cassis, black currant, mineral, earthy nose; tasty, poised, black currant, mineral palate; medium-plus finish

Going downhill on this showing...OK but tertiary and shortish. Medium to light bodied. Complex, but not that satisfying.
