Thumbs up. An almost 50 year old Cali Cab and it has held up really well. Decanted for an hour or so and we tasted with several other wines. But I was a fan. Liked the 1965 we opened back on my birthday in NOvember (my birth year). So all in all, well done Charles Krug

This wine takes about 20 minutes to open up - don't decant it. Then the fruit becomes alive. You need to provide time for the funk to blow off. It's pretty thin, but there is still some fruit in there. Patience young Skywalker.

The cork broke apart so we had to filter it into a decanter. That made it a bit too thin

The funk never wore off - continued to smell like paprika for more than an hour.
