Dark ruby black - aromas of bubble gum and leather and wet soil and tobacco jump from bottle at corkpull - this perfume is joined by sweet cherries and cedary minty stuff in the glass and on the palate - velvety mouthfeel with nice broadly spreading titillating tartness that keeps the wine dancing in top form during each draw providing lengthy palate presence while playing a role its role in keeping the wine vibrant until the last drop I coaxed from the decanter. Bravo!

Another huge Aussie powerhouse with a ton of blueberry pie, blueberry juice, blueberry jam, and blueberry gelato (do you get the hint?). Flavors also include black figs, black tea, lavender, cinnamon, pomegranate, and faint hazelnut. Very solid tannins, medium density, and a huge finish (40 – 50 seconds). Brilliant black & blue color with some red & purple mixed in. Initial scents of rosemary, basil, and light camphor oil; while roasted meat and rich coffee notes develop after a couple hours. Currently at peak maturity - pop and enjoy!

This 21-year-old wine still tastes young and vibrant. Crushed black berries, smoke, forest floor, and leather in both the smells and the flavors.

Earth and coffee on the nose, black berry, baking spices, licorice on the palate. Great structure with a 1 minute+ finish. Really enjoyed it.
