Lovely vigorous wine. Bottle and fill were good, but the capsule was crusted and the cork depressed. I tried to extract the cork, but it slid easily into the bottle. I left it there ( it had been there for 37 years) and let the wine breathe for 4 hours before decanting it for dinner. The nose was superb and is the main attraction here - enticing sous bois and something floral. Perfect weight and balance, nothing overdone here. Really held up well through dinner and was excellent with duck confit with bluberry/port sauce. Great old traditional burg.
