Not a virgin anymore - My first dinner at Bern's (Bern's Steakhouse, Tampa, FL): Dinner at Bern's. Musty, black wet soil nose with some leather and hints of dried black berries. A bit of lean dried black fruit on the palate, but good overall balance. slight minty finish. Not ranked higher because middle palate was a touch hollow.

Second Night in Mecca (Berns): Medium red color with some fading at the edges. Interesting leather briar black friut nose. Big sour balck fruit on the palate, but began to decline pretty quickly in the glass. Perhaps a couple extra points from me for surviving 81 years with any fruit at all!

Dinner at Bern's Part Deux. Color was medium red with touches of brown around the edge. Nose was fairly closed, but did have classic Boredeaux notes once it showed anything. Mouth was a little monolithic. Not very complex and didn't last very long. Disappointing for the vintage.
