Wow! Great color and bouquet in the decant. About an hour before dinner. Great balance of acidity and tannins. Dark fruits on the palate. Even at this age, they aren’t muted. And great finish. Paired with grilled steak, it shone. And last glasses on its own was fantastic. Still has time left.

Medium crimson color. On the nose, oozes of blackberry and cassis, blueberry, fresh tobacco, tomato leaf, pencil shavings, and violet. High acidity, well integrated tannins, and long sweet finish. Drinking well now, no rush to drink up but limited upside.

I've only had a couple of Cathy Corison's cabs in the past but I'm still trying to figure out her intended style. For a 2007 this seemed very mature with no place to go but down. It's not a very powerful wine but it is balanced and does have a personality to it. I have a bottle left and will probably drink up within a couple of years.

Afraid this one seems like it has crested the hill. Mild, friendly taste, but not much structure or depth remain. Drink up.
