Opulent and rich. Notes of red currant, blackberries, well-integrated tannins, and acid. Drinking beautifully. Fresh and lively, in its prime drinking window.

No bricking at all, and just a little fine sediment. A bit of cork and mushroom upon opening that took a while to disappear. A night one glass was nice but not special. On night 2 with a roast dinner, deep blue fruit, fine-grained tannins, eucalyptus, and light baking spices predominated. A long succulent finish followed. With 3 of us there, it was gone much too soon. Absolutely wonderful.

Decanted about three hours before dinner. From a magnum. Wonderfully smooth. Dark fruits. Shared with friends. Happy ne thought it might be the best wine he’s ever had.

Absolutely hitting on all cylinders tonight. Balanced, adequate acid, ripe but restrained fruit, blue and red both. Tannins resolved. Perfect place tonight. Every once in awhile you get lucky.

(Corison Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard) This is another powerful wine, but the contrast between ripe black- and red-fruit flavors and fresh minerality is enjoyable to observe. Intensely concentrated, it maintains a high-toned acidity. Cherry, violets, chocolate, cedar—this complex beauty goes on and on. Terroir: Kronos Vineyard
