  Rollercoaster wine. Came out of the gate needing to blow off badly, but then did quickly. Was absolutely wonderful with lamb rib chops, from about the 30-60 minute window but then fell off a lot and showed some maderization. Probably not a perfect bottle but hit a high of 94 during that time.

  perfect level and cork, last bottle of a 6 x case and a great one to finish, nose is just all class, fine, fresh, complex, lifted, palate of medium weight but real intensity and concentration, amazingly persistent finish, fine wine, old school (12.5% in a good year)

  perfect level and cork, colour correct for age, last bottle was not quite up to this level, this one is top, superb nose, very complex, nuanced, elegant, Duhart at its absolute best, palate of medium weight but real intensity and concentration, finish lasts for minutes on the mid- to back palate, just lovely, one bottle of the 6x case left, just hope it is as good, not all the bottles were this outstanding

  Aromas of black fruits, riped preserved plums jump out at you, with mint leaves, herbs and spice tertiaries. Tasted black fruits, mint leaves, pencil shavings, with herbs and slight pepper tertiaries. Nice peppers finish, with an earthy aftertaste. Let it breathe a little. Open now. This has a few more years in it.
