Very deep robe, very 1959. A bit of sur-maturite on the fruit, round, smokey, very tertiary now, autumnal, soft, mellow. Medium intensity. Not particularly distinctive on the palate. From a Belgian bottling with a high shoulder fill and a good cork.

Very deep mature colour, Very mature, musty minty bouquet. Enormous, full bodied minty taste, fantastic layers with coffee, mocha, warm fruit and perfectly rounded tannins and incredible length. One of the best Bordeaux I have ever had. My guess was something from 1961.

Good bottle. B-stand.
Mature rusty colour. Like coffee.
Chocolate, coffee, menthe, orange peel, molnen leaves, used tea bag.
Quite sweet nose.
I love these old Bordeaux from 1959 :-)
Good taste :-) of coffee, red berries, leather, mineral. Slightly metallic mineral. Good acidity and nice finish. Quite long
