  The bottle was In good condition; the filling-level was top shoulder, the cork was intact, no seepage. The wine was dark ruby, almost garnet in colour, and showed lots of cedarwood, bell pepper, plum, coffee, sous bois and complex spice notes, cinnamon, porcini and a hint of dark chocolate on the nose and palate, with pronounced acidity, mostly resolved tannin and very good length. The medium-bodied wine had a smooth texture, but needed food to tame the acidity. Pair with fillet mignon.

  Elegant package of cedar, sandalwood, syrupy tones, in the drinking window. A very good estate, weird how this good estate seems to be (nearly) forgotten by the market.

  Une fois bien ouvert et aéré, c'est une merveille. Je ne sais si c'est le vin qui s'ouvre peu à peu à mon palais, où mon palais pour accueillir ce nectar, mais une chose est sûre : c'est un très bon vin. Tout y est : élégance, progressif dévoilement d'arômes et de splendeurs, rubis profond d'insolente jeunesse, cèdre, épices, fruits rouges et noires, boisé discret, tanins fondus, grande longueur (une fois ouvert, et c'est certes moins immédiat qu'une fleur), opulence indéniable de l'ensemble.
