Dark gold color. Sweet pineapple, guava, distant apricot, and a bit of plantain. Apricots dominate this sugar bomb with pineapple husk in the background. Pleasant bittersweet finish .

Aromas of honey, seville orange marmalade, a tiny toffee note, sweet spice but, overall this is very marmalad-ey for me on the nose. Medium plus intensity acidity offsets the residual sugar, slightly bitter almost clove notes, orange marmalade less forward here and a with a slightly meaty underpin on the finish. Nice enough.

Base hit, not home run but in a nice place. Friend apricot and heather. Not propulsive but enough acid to get it done. Expect enjoyment and not profundity and you’ll be happy indeed.

Almond liquor? Alcohol soaked dried fruit, a bit waxy. Intense palate that keeps evolving.

Deep amber.
Pronounced on the nose with honey, dried apricot, saffron, mushroom, ginger, hazelnut, toasted caramel, almond liqueur, booze soaked raisins, nutmeg. Fully developed.
Pronounced and sweet on the palate. Full body, high acidity, high alcohol, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.
