Just started to turn a bit gold in color. The nose blew me away with green apple, citrus fruits, peach, tropical, honey, banana and a bit of slate. Brought me straight back to summer at the Mosel with a palate of green apple, peach, tropical fruits (mostly pineapple, mango and passion fruit), banana, quince, honey, unripe melon and the most insane lemon note and acidity with lots of minerals! A slight hint of petroleum after some hours. At 7.5% ABV I really expected a rather sweet wine but the acidity in this hits like a truck! Completely blown away.

So light on its feet! Mosel typicity with slate, flowery and lychee aromas. Elegant and delicate in the mouth and it seems almost fragile. Mid palate fresh and fruity and the finish is medium long. Drinks well now but can of course be stored. 90-92p

Very good slate expression in nose and mouth, but needed just a bit more acidity to maximally balance the sugar. Cellared since original release.

Nice, a bit bland and past due, but nice
