Bottled in 2008. A beautiful aromatic nose of dried fig and toasted nuts and honey. A little bit of cocoa powder orange peel too. Rich, full bodied (20% abv), bright acidity, and soft lingering lengthy finish. The palate is full of orange marmalade, honeyed nuts, and baking spice. This a great Colheita and highly recommended. Perfect with a cheese platter or slightly chilled on a hot summer day as the Portuguese like to enjoy. Opened for over 3 weeks and still going strong! 4/5

At this point, the bottle has been open for nearly two weeks and I'm on my last glass enjoying it with some aged gouda. The color is tawny color. The nose offers up some cinnamon and clove, dried fruits, dates, and caramel. The palate is medium weight and smooth with nice acidity but a little alcohol burning the tongue. Nice finish but it is a little short. A nice colheita and one I'd probably buy again. 50 + 4 + 11 + 16 + 8

Slight toffee, smoked raisins, slight marcona almond, great acidity, touch rancio, short hot finish.

Past it's prime, and starting to fade some. Still enjoyable, but if I had more I would drink up. YMMV.

Amazing nose and flavors of figs, nuts honey. It is starting to fade- recommend drinking sooner than later.
