1/19/2024 - hiker_guy Does not like this wine:
This just reinforced my opinion that colheitas are not up my alley.
Very clear and transparent in the glass. Looks lovely.
Nose was strongly hot. There's the nutty tawney notes in there but to my nose they were overwhelmed by the heat.
Palate is hot and out of balance to me. There's not enough flavor to match the alcohol.
I guess I'll stick to my vintage ports.

(cellardoor w ZM, DY) Dried berries, dessert, brown fruits, dried figs, toasted almond. Wow floating, elegant, silky, glowing. Lifted, textural, pu’er, totally put together. Oddly not tight, but airy, not tense. Athletic nutty, long airy finish. Finesse. Incredible. Cognac. Coffee
