  Second of 4 dinner wines in Japan. Wouldn't rate it as high as others. Nice example of red blend from Montalcino but not exceptional. Again, could be a bottle storage issue with the restaurant - all bottles came out cold and sweating. It was humid but....

  good stuff.... Drinking wonderfully now... Rivals the Biondi Santi Rosso, but that isn't even out yet for 2013. In a good place today... Load up!

  A pure and elegant expression of Sangiovese. Expressive and refined nose with red cherries, coffee, damp forrest floor, tea and spices. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, clean and bright fruit and balancing acidity. Medium to long aftertaste. Drinks nicely already with good aging potential.
