Deep ruby. Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, green pepper, vanilla, cedar, cloves, chocolate, coffee, cooked meat, tar. licquorice. High acidity with smooth integrated tannins. Long finish. This is outstanding and potential to improve with more time in bottle.

Rather soft and retained, however very elegant in the flavor palate. Not a great year but this one is worth exploring.

For me the great positive surprise of this evening. Cool, chalky, vertical, relaxed; understated. Very elegant, drinking a point yet with 10 years+ life left. Loved it.
