Rhone Tasting. From Magnum. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre. Very good at a perfect spot. Brownish rim, dark core. Fruit and spices. Rounded tannins. Good acidity. Still some time to go.

Pretty tight and unapproachable and lacking balance. Licorice, and typical garrigue/mineral notes, with lots of acidity on the palate. Perhaps in a late reduction phase?

A wonderful dive into the Rhône. Fully developed, this bottle is a real treat now. Fleshy and seductive palate of ripe fruit, ink, garrigue, cinnamon, portwine, chocolate. This full bodied and super phenolic bottle is your ideal summer companion to some grilled meat. Drink over the next 2/3 years.

A bit clumsy and alcoholic. Perhaps it will improve a bit with time but I would't have very high hopes. Inky, rustic. Very good with barbequed bavette, though.
