  This starts out leisurely but it's so impressive after 2+ hours of air. Deep black cherry, dark raspberry, cedar, and sous bois bouquet shows singed and smoky overtones. The palate opens to a touch of VA, but it quickly dissipates, uncovering an endless amount of cherries framed by cranberry acidity and a sturdy backbone. Lovely.
