PnP from 1.5 L. The cork was is perfect shape for a 12 year old bottle. Beautiful color with heavy bricking around the edges. The nose offers notes of carmel, stewed fruit, graphite, and pencil lead. On the palate the tannins are nearly non exsistant at this point although the acid is still quite lively. Med bodied at best with a satisfying finish. My have missed the best of this wine by a couple of years. would not sit on any 750's much longer.

This wine was still holding on well. Good mature aromas, solid dark fruits with a very smooth mouth feel. The finish was a bit short on it's own, but was enhanced with the lamb we had as our entree. The ambiance of the evening did not hurt the impression of the wine.

This was a 1.5 Liter bottle. It was perfect in terms of age and finish, unlike comments made by others on the .75Liter bottles that had started declining in quantity. Upon opening, it had a full, fruity nose with cherry and casis notes. I served it with rosemarry chicken and it was a fabulous pairing. The finish was fabulous and the wine improved during the evening. I wish I had more.

1.5 offering. Still some tannins left in the front that followed through with its slightly oaky finish. Appears to be on its gradual downslide, but still enjoyable.

Still holding up well; opens nicely after about 20-30 minutes.
