Tasted at La's Kitchen. A superb new-world chardonnay made by the top old-world winemaker. Well-balanced, medium-bodied, unctuous, lasting finish Chardonnay.

Fantastic Caneros chard. Straw color with notes of pineapple and honey. This nose is a bit lacking but the mouthfeel and taste make up for the lacking aroma. Vibrant acidity with slight hint of oak and vanilla. Had multiple vintages of this wine and never disappoints.

Tasted at a charity tasting event sponsored by a retailer in NJ. Light lemon yellow color. Great nose! Just a little oak showing, sweet florals, palate is mostly apple and slight citrus. I'm think no or only partial Malo. Bright on the tongue and rather long on the finish with mineral notes. Really good despite some palate fatigue late in the event when I got to this table.

At charity tasting…I want to spend more time with this one, do not think they served properly or some time will help this shine. It was good and intriguing, I could see the possible potential, mineral driven, stone, light citrus, and just purely refreshing in the mouth like cold pure mountain water. Agree with Klugi’s TN comparing to Mersault, quite Francè in style and far from Napa expectations. Hmmm
