A beautiful wine with a slightly elevated acidity, but is suppressed by the wonderful palate, A long finish on this wine with a floral and vanilla aroma paired excellent with our fish. This wine has at least 3 more years of life if not slightly more (say 5).

Classic RRV Chard served for Thanksgiving 2019. Nose of herbs and butter. Entry of honeysuckle, mango, wildflowers. Middle gains a limestone grit. Finishes with brighter acidity than I would have expected given that the entry of this wine is quite a bit more rounded than I expected it to be. Hint of walnut. Very balanced. These wines are built for an extremely long haul, 1 to 2 decades. Drink or hold.

Beautifully aged, with rich mouthfeel, length, honey and tropical fruit flavors with some nice acidity. May have another year or two, but why wait? Nice by itself and with sauteed sole with lemon & capers and a side of Green Bean Cesar salad
