Best bottle yet. The fruit has put on weight since my last tasting with the acidity better integrated and balanced. The wine now has a rounder and richer element of citrus and tropical fruits. Seemingly at peak and can last at least 3 more years in excellent form.

Just a really solid, happy Sauvignon Blanc. Popped and poured out of fridge. Lemon curd, lanolin, oyster shell. Still tart and fresh. Slight edge of bitterness which I like.

Coravined and fridged for 5 days because of work and only now getting to a proper drink. Definitely an interesting Sauvignon blanc - combines the structure of a white Bordeaux with the freshness and pop of a New Zealand SB. On the nose, lemon zest, white flowers, almonds and slight hint of caramel. In the mouth a zippy acidity, but with a roundness and depth. It doesn’t have the grassy cat pee that I associate with some NZ SBs, which is a good thing in my mind. Very nice!
Ok an hour on, it’s opened up more in the glass and I’m ticking up the score from 92 to 94 as it gains more depth. Also getting more minerality/wet rocks and lanolin. Yummy.

Definitely a cut above most SBs, especially NZs. Nice and light but with substance when in comes to flavor. Great cocktail wine.
