Full bouquet of red berries with a taste of red currant and cranberry. Quite fresh and should easily age for several more years. Nice, but a bit too forward and simple

This wine exhibits the textbook mid-level extraction of classic french burgundy with its translucent color. The nose displays subtle notes of saddlery shop leather aroma backed up by bing cherry fruit notes. In the mouth a crisp acidity on the tongue highlights a medium bodied mouth feel that coats the entire mouth. There is a tannin backbone that carries a long and lingering finish. Calera Mt. Harlan Pinots possess a tannin structure unlike almost any pinot noir made on the North American continent and the Selleck vineyard is probably the signature offering for experiencing this trait. While drinking excellent now I believe that this wine will continue to improve for at least three to four more years.

Beautiful! Medium to heavy Pinot, with great concentration and acidity. Pepper, blood orange, dark fruit, and forest floor. Big, but still elegant.
