Magnificent. Last bottle the best. Wish it was my first. Wonderful aromas, flavors and color. Still primary with secondary complexity. Showing very little tertiary flavors makes me believe there is still plenty of time left. Very little sediment as well.

Decanted. Impressive structure with dark fruits only beginning to emerge in development. Reminds of Pontet Canet's tannin & reserve. Delicious but best paired with a good steak. Very youthful. Recommend another 10 years patience which, I believe, the wine is well structured for. Softens considerably 2nd day.

Earthiness, vegetation, vanilla, and cherry cola on the nose. Cherries, vanilla, and a little green vegetable on the palate. The finish is very smooth and long. I don't think this wine has much life left in it.

Decanted 20 minutes, but it was very bitter. Let it sit for two hours while I opened a different bottle. Time helped, but not that much. It was acceptable after 2 hours of breathing, so glad I didn't pour it down the drain.

This was essentially popped and poured. Dark at the core with a bit of bricking at the rim. To my surprise, not really much sediment in this bottle. On the nose, (after about 30 minutes open in the bottle), some leather, earth, sour cherries, chocolate (bitter sweet), some wet earth, and maybe some dill as well. This was more muted than I had hoped - it feels like this is fading a bit. On the palate, some leather, dark cherries, some greenness, earth, tobacco, and some baking spices. There is still some fruit here but it is definitely fading. Medium plus acidity. Medium body. Tannins are soft and integrated.

Drank over two days. Day one this bottle was dominated by sour cherry notes over some dark fruits mostly blackberry and some licorice. Day two, the wine was more balanced and went well with food. Day one rate 86-87, day two 89 for an 88 average. The cork on this bottle crumbled while being opened.

Medium body, garnet color. Pretty much at the end of its life, so drink up. New leather, lavender and thyme, dark cherries, quince paste. Improved greatly with aeration!

A little better after 24 hours opened. I opened this yesterday for an hour, recorked and waited 24 hours. The acidity is present but more background than up front. It is more balanced after 1 day and the wine is showing those old wines notes I love. Some asphalt and dried cherry.
I think I agree with CT member J.Squared on this. I also purchased at WL and have enjoyed most of them. Tonight's bottle at 13 years is acidic and unbalanced. Frankly undrinkable. My capsule was black. Feel free to share thoughts. I am going to let this sit overnight and report back. Not scoring

- Brick color with slow forming legs and has flavours of blackberry, black currant and smokey. Linear texture with a short finish - Its starting to go past prime but decanting a good hour keeps it relevant and smooths out the initial nose. Still a nice fruit within the glass.

I bought about a case from winelibrary.com in 2012. I bought four bottles the first time and the bottles had a black seal over the top. The second order of 9 bottles had a red seal over the top. The second 9 have all been terrible and flawed. The ones with the black seal over the top have been amazing. It almost makes me think that second order was counterfiet although they could have just been improperly stored at winelibrary.
Much better than the bottle from last year (2019) which may have been flawed. Dark fruits with black cherry and blackberry, a touch of vegetal notes, mid-palate acidity and a mid-length finish with some mild sour cherry.

Unlike the 6/1/19 bottle I loathed three weeks ago, this bottle was fresh and bursting with black fruit, cocoa and leather aromas and very integrated and long on the palate. Perhaps this was "lightening in a bottle" but it was delicious with the slow cooked loin of lamb at Russet Restaurant.

This bottle is quite different from prior ones. Maybe waited too long. Heavy, muted fruits, licorice and dark burnt toast, still quite a bit of acidity in mid palate and finish with some burnt sour cherry. I have started using the bottle opener than you plunge a needle and put some air in to push the cork out. It didn't work on this bottle maybe because the cork was porous so had to use a regular corkscrew. I suspect that the porous cork allowed the wine to age too quickly and go past prime too soon. I wonder if anyone else is noticing the same issue or maybe it is just an off bottle.

Deep red color. Aromas of black cherry, mocha and wood spices. Ripe, well-integrated fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length. I found this bottle to lack enough complexity and grip to warrant a higher score.

Prior bottle was exactly one year ago and my notes were mostly consistent. Takes about two hours to open up and come into balance (was a bit light, less complex and not as well integrated when first opened) and continued to improve for a few hours beyond that. Blackberry, black cherry and a mix of earth, spice and vanilla notes on the nose. Medium bodied with a mixture of brighter blackberry and softer black cherry upfront. Retains some light red cherry notes behind and the back still has plenty of tartness along with integrated spices, black cherry, earth and leather. Doesn't have quite the depth through the middle that it showed previously and perhaps, not quite the complexity. Overall, still showing quite well and while the first few glasses didn't quite show it, the last few did have more depth, roundness and integration. Still has the fruit and contrasting notes to remain quite enjoyable, but perhaps a slight step down from some of the prior bottles. This was my final bottle, but I would say drink these sooner, rather than later. While they will hold and evolve, I don't see room for additional improvement.

Even better on the 2nd night - needs time for tannins to integrate and fruit to balance. Still a bit of over extracted fruit on the finish with drying tannins but very enjoyable. Campfire, oak, smoke, leather, violets and blueberry. Would give this another 5+ years in the bottle.

Right out of the glass, I get a nose of french oak, funk & dirty earth w/ secondary fruits layered in that get brighter and more pronounced with time in the glass. Some leather and dark fruit fill the nose before giving way to a bit thin play of violet, raspberry and flowers. Tannins keep the wine structured and supports the fruit as it finishes with beautiful zing of bright fruit before earthy tannins end the experience - finishing dry. Wish it had a more mouth-coating feel - so drinks a touch thin but this is an interesting, exciting and enjoyable effort. 91+

Easy to drink, fruit is slipping away and has left a very dry wine with a slightly chalky tannic finish. The last reviewer gave it a 91, wish I had his bottle!

Prior bottle was just over a year ago and this wine continues to improve. Took about 90 minutes to open up as the acidity was a bit tight and slightly out of balance at first. But once it came together, the fruit, depth and structure were all impressive. Blackberry, black cherry, earth and spice note son the nose. Between medium and full bodied and became more polished and round through the middle the longer it was open. Has that bright sangiovese styled fruit upfront: black cherry, red cherry and blackberry with nice brightness and expression. Gains weight through the middle with plum, more black cherry and leather, earth and spice notes. It took a little initial time, but once the fruit and structure (both tannin and acidity) came into balance, the result was a polished wine of depth and complexity. As well as it showed tonight, felt youthful and could continue to benefit from cellar time. I'll save my last bottle til early Fall 2018.

Took 1 hour to fully open. Blackberry, plum, leather. Tannins mellowed as aired. Very nice QPR. Was stored properly and showed no signs of bricking. Appeared young and is in a great drinking window.

Nose of oak, leather, violets, must and cigar leaf. Tart black raspberry, violets and well integrated tannins with a creamy texture and long evolving finish. Drinking very nicely. Should continue to develop over the next 2 - 7 years.

Very good wine, and at a very good place in it's maturity. Plenty of well rounded fruit, soft tannins and enough acid to keep it interesting. Paired well with platter of Italian meats and cheeses, great combo.

Glad I waited on this wine. It opened musty and feeling old, but then blossomed into a beautiful accompaniment to hearty food. Great minerality and softened tannins, almost Burgundy-like in that sense, with fantastic dark fruit still strong after all these years. Sangiovese and Cab never tasted so good together. Match made in heaven.

Popped and poured and drank over two hours. A little tight when first opened. Smoothed out nicely over time.
Flavors of sour cherry, cinnamon, tobacco and leather. Nicely balanced with good acidity. In a good drinking range right now, but should have many more years left.
Very solid effort.

This is my first bottle of this wine. A pristine cork with good neck fill. The wine is cherry in color with lighter tones at the edges. The aroma is lifted with cassis, cherries, violets, and a light note of sage. On the palate this has very energetic acidity with modestly drying tannin. This has a good entry with cherry and bay leaf. Towards the mid palate this picks up notes of cinnamon and then finishes with dried herbs. Plenty of life on this. Drink or hold.

Followed a CA Cabernet. Good fruit notes present here, but more complexity is evidenced with hints of tobacco and leather compared to the California Cab. Drinking well now, but still opens up with some time.

Very different from my prior bottle of almost exactly a year ago (August 2015) as the sangiovese seems to have taken control. Black cherry and then hints of cabernet fruit on the nose. Medium bodied and well integrated through the mid-body, but finishes with a strong burst of acidity and then nice tannins on the finish. Mixture of bright black and red cherry upfront, with the darker, more cabernet-dominant notes of plum, and chocolate behind. Finishes with hints of cigarbox, leather and minerals. This wine has continued to evolve and integrate quite well. The complexity through the middle and the interplay between the sangiovese and cabernet notes make it quite enjoyable. Based on the brightness of the fruit and the current structure level, this wine should continue to improve. Should be interesting to see where it ends up when it does hit peak.

This bottle surprised me a bit. For the first two hours, it was mostly cabernet dominant; more structured, darker fruit, more leather, chocolate and currants. But once it hit three hours, it really opened up and showed much more of the soft, but bright sangiovese fruit - lots of red cherry and some red raspberry. Retained the structure and backbone of the cabernet throughout, but the best glasses were the later ones. Should continue to age well and I'll be very interested to see how these two sides integrate over time.

Currents, raspberry, strawberries, black fruits , red fruits cherry, plums, cassis then throw in cedar spice box cigar cola and butterscotch.... Wow! I go for black cherry and a liitle cola very Sangiovese overall, and always a very good value. Enjoy=

PnVnD let air for 1hr. Dark crimson purple almost saturated with scarlet to clear youthful rim. Plum cassis tobacco violets and cola on the nose. Medium weight with nicely ripe yet present tannins. Cassis black raspberry rosemary and cola on the plate. Lingering red fruit and herbal finish. Elegant and well integrated and still young.

This bottle was much more cabernet-dominant than the prior bottle (Feb 2014). Much more blackfruit based with black cherry, plum and cigarbox notes. Sangiovese notes comes in the background and add brightness and redfruit notes. Still has good length, but more structured than the last bottle. Not sure if this was evolution, bottle variation or the fact that it was served at a cooler temperature (or a combination of the three). I'll be very interested to see how the next bottle shows.

This is the third bottle that I have drunk from a case purchased for $277, which I now regard as a great price. There really should be no hurry to drink them, but it is hard to resist. It is only beginning to round into form, with a smooth, plush mouth feel and lovely floral aromas. It has dropped some sediment. The fruit is raspberry-like with an edge of acidity. Looking forward to the rest.

Deep, dark garnet in color. Fragrant, attractive & complex nose of red fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries and currants with earthy notes, spices, floral notes of violets, herbs, licorice, some coffee & cocoa notes, leather and minerals. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced, red fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries and mulberries with spices, herbs, coffee and minerals. Lingering dry & smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting and airing. Pretty close to, if not at, its peak of development.

I was excited about this wine as the 2006 was a really great vitage for Terrabianca. That said, this wine is medium body, works best with regional food dishes. The wine and terrior bring forward what you would anticipate for this region of Tuscany. We paired the wine with homemade Italian meatballs and gravy, which worked very well.

Redfruit and floral notes on the nose. Medium to full bodied and opens up very quickly, showing very bright red cherry, red raspberry and violet notes. Adds in an earthy, vanilla component on the finish with a hint of spice. Round, smooth and silky throughout, with very good depth and nice length on the finish. Mid-palette fruit seems to be all sangiovese with the cabernet providing the structure and the finish. Came across as well balanced and most similar to a brunello. Should improve a bit over the short term and drink very well over the next 5-7 years. Very enjoyable bottle.

Deep red color. Lovely, captivating aromas of black cherries, forest floor, violets and faint notes of incense. A medium bodied palate contains layers of sweet and tart black cherries and earth, no evidence of tannin, low acidity and a long perfumed finish. First one of these in almost exactly two years. Don't know how I found the patience. Dark and semi-opaque, but now lightening a bit at the edge. Shows a beautiful, complex nose of ripe fruit, sweet spice and flowers. This has put on some weight since last time. Now more full-bodied and no longer so Burgundian in character. Deep, intensely focused flavors of sour cherries, blackberries and dark currants fan out across the palate. Finishes very long, with lingering hints of oak, violets and mineral. So rich, yet elegant and wonderfully balanced. A real Tuscan beauty. 92+ 50+5+12+17+8=92

Very much a characteristic supertuscan. For the price, very nice wine, albeit somewhat simple. One thing that I can appreciate here is that they don't overuse wood so the fruit is pure (relative to many other supertuscans)

This one needs either major air time or years in the bottle. Tight, hot, tannic and bold. Was better the second day. The rich deep purple color and fragrant nose did not prepare us for the in-your-face initial impression. The second day the fruit flavors began to emerge as the heat and harsher aspects dissipated. The complex and hardy structure of the wine leads me to believe this has aging potential.

Interesting how this developed in the glass. Initially it was very fruit forward, dominated by cherries and plums. With time (more than two hours) it became more dominated by tannins and oak with an acidic, almost bitter aftertaste. I sensed only moderate spices. I think that this is already at a peak point, so not sure that there's room for further development in the cellar, but perhaps the latest time in the glass implies that this may get less bitter. I would guess, based on only limited experience, that further time in the cellar may make this more like the way it tastes after long decanting/time in the glass. If that is the case, then enjoying this now, and on the first night, is the right approach.

It may be bottle variance, or it may be time, but this bottle was outstanding. Perfect harmony of tannin, fruit, oak and spice it was a real pleasure to drink. Did not decant, although the bottle was open for 60 mins before consumption. This may now be hitting its stride...

Very good. Emphasizes earth and structure over up-front fruit, but everything is in balanced and great with food. While it seems to need a decant upon opening (I decanted 1/2 the bottle), it falls apart a little on Day 2 - recommend finishing on night 1.

Usually I like this wine, but this bottle was off. Wasn't getting the typical balance of fruit and earth. There was some slight effervescent action going on that never went away.
Consumed over two days after a 2 hour decant, initially very tight and not showing much on night one, this wine opened beautifully on day 2. Wonderfully expressive within silky tannins and balanced acidity. A medium bodied wine with notes of tobacco and cedar box, more ripe fruit than you would expect from an Italian wine, hauntingly long finish. At ~$22/ bottle, great QPR. This wine has a promising future but could benefit from a few more years of bottle age, if drinking now i advise a serious decant. This wine needs time to open up and show it true colors.

Archetypical typical Super Tuscan, just enough Cab to soften the edges of the Sangiovese, just now coming into its drinking window, give it air. At $22 at K&L, this is truly a bargain.

Nice right out of the bottle. Great nose - earth/fruit, full bodied front end and mid pallet, light back end with short finish. Fairly tannic (ripe though) so will be interesting see how this evolves. Fun bouquet and flavors, would buy again. Worked well with Mushroom Risotto.

The wine is a fairly dark ruby color. The deep and exotic nose has blackberries, cherries, cocoa powder, licorice, underbrush, dried herbs, minerals, and some well worn leather. This has a medium body with fairly solid tannins and very good acidity. On the palate the wine has loads of spicy, earthy fruit with dried herbs, and cocoa powder adding considerable depth. The finish has nice length, but a bit of oak pops out and gets a touch intrusive. This tastes very nice now but should be better in another year. Hopefully by then the excess oak on the finish will smoothen out or integrate. This is a blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

P&P, 56F. Deep purple. Lots of fruit on the nose (more new world than old). Tamer on the palate with moderate blackberry, good acid and mild to moderate tannins. Some complexity of flavor, nice moderate mouthfeel and finish. Not bad at all. Should go well with tonights pizza.

Popped and poured. The wine offered a rather limited nose, with some red and dark fruit, Vienna sausage, chocolate, coffee and coconut. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed red fruits, cherry, some tobacco, hints of coffee and tea, and a mild spiciness, paired with good acidity and very good length of the oak-driven finish. An OK, easy-drinking wine, not particularly complex and lacking the backbone and structure I tend to like in many Tuscan wines of the 2007 vintage. Seems a little overpriced. Will not buy it again.

Two grapes I don't normally drink - Sangiovese and Cabernet - combine into a delightfully smooth, rich wine. Sangiovese begins with bright, red fruit notes and Cabernet finishes with heavier, chocolately, smokey flavors. Not substantive; the flavor doesn't linger and there are no deeper notes. But a delightful wine.

Nice super-tuscan style blend. Needs time to open, a good hour or 2. Once it settled down the acid / tannin ratio was much more mellow and paired perfectly with red sauces. Prior to opening it was a bit unapproachable. A bit of cellaring or decanting does the trick.

Opened this bottle at a party and it did not show well at all. The wine had a highly fruity and acidic taste. Perhaps it had turned but I know that I stored it properly. I decanted the wine for 45 minutes before I poured the first glass and consumed it over two days. The wine was medium ruby in colour. It offered a slightly dusty nose, with sweet spices, liquorice, milk chocolate, lead pencil and sandalwood, joined by red candy on day two. On the palate the wine showed red and dark berries, strawberry, red cherry, chocolate, some spices, some tobacco, a hint of coffee, and black currant on the Cabernet-driven finish. The medium- to light-bodied wine had medium-level acidity, fine, ripe tannins and good length. It was balanced and very easy drinking, yet not particularly complex and did not have the backbone and structure I tend to like in many Tuscan wines of the 2007 vintage. The wine improved with moderate aeration, but was better on day one (89) than on day two (87) as it turned more candy-like over night. I did not finish the bottle in the course of the week (which is rather rare and a bad sign as it typically reflects that I consider the wine uninteresting or of poor quality) and will probably not buy it again.

Decanted for 2 hours and drank over the next 2 hours. Enjoyed while sitting on the patio on a cool July evening. Great quaffer. Deep cabernet nose of dark berries. The sangiovese adds complexity, tannic structure, and acidic lift to the fruit. Definitely more of a fruit forward modern style Tuscan. Overall a very nice and enjoyable wine. Cheers!

Silky with floral tones. Tannins are there but hidden and smooth. Sangiovese over powers the Cab grapes in a very pleasant way. Tuscan Blends (San Francisco Wine Trading Company): Medium red. Strong anise, VA and a touch of brett-an unsavory aromatic mix. Lush entry, blueberry fruit but prickly, sour, poor finish. I hope that this was not truly representative of the wine, which was the most expensive one in the line up. Awful.

Good "house" wine. Not too pricey and goes great with food. Open it up and let it sit a bit before drinking if you plan on drinking it now. It's still young and may benefit from a few more years of a "wine nap". Could get 90+ points with a bit of time in the cellar.

Full garnet color. Nose: blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry fruit with accents of damp leather, licorice, espresso, violet, and tar. Medium/full body on the palate: rich blackberry and black cherry fruit framed by licorice, leather, espresso, mint, and graphite. Medium+ acidity. Moderate/firm mouth-coating tannins. Lingering berry skin, licorice, espresso, and graphite on the long finish. Bold, intense Super Tuscan with excellent structure. Has the stuffing to develop well over the next 7-10 years.

Scents of dark berries, leather, and fennel. Tastes of cherries and leather with hints of smoke. The finish is a little creamy with some nice spice. It might have been better if we had let it breathe longer, but it was very good.

Score is more for what it might become. Dark fruit on nose and palate. Deep with long tannin and high acid. Opened too soon. Enjoyed it but now a bit sharp. I think it could be pretty great in 5 yrs.

Aroma of cellar floor. Like you're down in a dusty basement in the laundry room sniffing the concrete floor. Flavors of tart raspberry, black currant and very slight black tea. Medium (almost medium-full) bodied. Nice acidity with slightly grippy tannins. Lengthy finish. Overall very enjoyable, solid 90-point effort.

Good, not great. Nose was pretty complex, but the palate was a bit underwhelming and much softer than expected. Solid acid, but the tannins were too flat to hold the fruit in place; unfocused.

Ok really suspicious here. Had store purchased bottle and decent. WTSO deal so bought 4 more. Now more fruit forward. Seeing all the comments - ranging from tight needing decanting, to new world style fruit forward makes me think after WS rating Terrabianca may have done a second bottling of different wine to off load. Why suspicious? store wine black foil, WTSO wine red foil!

Enjoyable better than average Super Tuscan. Low alcohol, low acid and nice nose. Despite the yearly high ratings for this wine by the wine rags, I found this only to be average. I declined to put more bottles in my cellar despite the reasonable price. Once again the CT average rating in right on, not the higher ratings of RP and WS.

Dark red color. Dark red cherries, licorice, leather and wood spice on the nose. The palate is quite fruity with dark berry liquer, licorice, minerals, noticeable tannins and oak. This will need time to settle down.

Decanted about an hour. Medium to dark ruby red color. Blackberries, cherries, licorice, scorched earth, a slight herbal/stemmy note, cocoa powder, and a bit of leather on the slightly shy nose. Medium body with fairly solid, ripe tannins and very nice acidity. Cherry, berries, and spice lead the charge on the palate with a bit of oak adding some seasoning. Nice length on the finish, but a bit of oak pops out before the tannins and tart acidity clamp down. Tastes nice now but this needs another year in the cellar. 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

Well rounded wine. Quite fruity and fresh, with mix of black and red fruits and a little tart at the finish. Medium body, fairly smooth and a little heat as well. Heat dissipated after a couple of hours. Mild or well rounded tannins, which were not very intrusive. Fine to drink now but I think this will get better with time. Another 2 to 3 years. Reminds me of the 2008 Numanthia Termes which is around the same price point.

Dark ruby red in color, with aromas of rich dried fruit, minerals, and a hint of eucalyptus. On the palate, sweet blackberry, blueberry, and pomegranate flavors are fresh and tart, with liquid mineral and a bit of cocoa present. The tannins are round, and get bigger with air. There’s a crisp, clean finish. 70% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

70%Sangiovese, 30%Cabernet. I'm really feeling the concentration on the palate more so than my previous engagement with this wine. To be Lee Ronaldian, 'Rather Ripped' aromas. Waxy cherry. An herb oil pick me up in the nose. Palate shows determined structure on accessibility of the mid palate delivery. Forceful with loads of guts. Consume.

Not sure this lives up to the WS hype. It's but is really modern with a lot of ripe fruit and a lot a new oak. With some air the oak integrated more. No doubt a tasty, crowd pleaser, but made more in a cali, new world style. Obviously young though, so would be interested to try again in 2-3 years.

Needed an hour or two after decanting to open up. Nice wine with dark color and bountiful nose. Dark fruit and spice on the palate with a medium body. Velvet tanins and acidity help to carry this wine through a nice, long finish.

Couldn't wait to open one of these. Gave it a healthy 12 hour decant. Complex nose with prominent notes of raspberry and cigar box. Palate showcases vanilla, mocha and mixed berry, all of which are still wound up in a tannic grip. Very little acidity. This is a beautiful SuperTuscan for the price, and like many top-notch ST's it needs significant cellaring.

First off this wine needs at least 2 hours of decanting but if you can't wait then pour it through a Vinturi. This falls on the fruitier side of Italian wines and is very approachable for most new wine drinkers. Lots of blackberries and mint on the nose with a bit of earth. In the mouth the fruit really shines with loads of currant and sour cherries, velvety tannins, and just a hint of cedar. Finishes surprisingly long.
I think I was lucky to get this wine at $22, the normal price tag of $35-40 seems about right. I am going back for more.
Remember, you don't drink the label.

PnVnD let breathe for 10hrs. Bright purple red not saturated with red rim. Black currant pastille coffee and licorice aromas - leapt from the decanter and were still present after airing. Medium weight with nicely burred tannins. Flavors echo the tannin especially the black currant. Zippy acidity with tobacco and espresso linger on the finish. Very classy well balanced and a lot more finese than I expected. Lots of life ahead.

This interesting young Tuscan really benefits from a 2-3 hour decant. Lots of plum and a hint of spice on the nose. Wine Spectator's Bruce Sanderson hit the nail on the head - this could easily be mistaken for a Burgundy in a blind tasting, which is something I never thought I'd be saying about a Tuscan Sangiovese/Cabernet blend. Quite delicate and still a bit closed at this early stage, yet it offers plenty of raspberry and blueberry character, super-fine tannins and a long, fresh finish that features just a hint of chocolate. Very nicely done and potentially a 93-94 point scorer with a few more years of bottle age. 50+5+12+16+8=91

It almost makes me think that second order was counterfiet although they could have just been improperly stored at winelibrary.

It is only beginning to round into form, with a smooth, plush mouth feel and lovely floral aromas. It has dropped some sediment. The fruit is raspberry-like with an edge of acidity. Looking forward to the rest.

Blueberry, raspberry, violets, leather, and licorice. Fairly intense for an Old World wine. Decent balance... decent length finish. Neither wonderful nor terrible... just a decent wine.

Drank with Lamb chops with a goat cheese topping drizzled with a Zin reduction sauce. Not too full bodied. I liked this wine better than Carrie did but we both agreed that we will get it again.

Very expressive tuscan. Dark berries on the nose, bit funky, something cheese-like. Leather and a bit of dark chocolate. Nice feel, well rounded and balanced. Medium to long with the cabernet showing very nicely and adding to the sangiovese appeal. Better still on day two. Should likely be cellared some more but drinking very well already.
