This is in an absolutely perfect spot right now. Aromas of dried berries, leather and porcini. Palate is silky and refined, with dried sweet berries, raisin, leather and hints of black truffle notes. Beautifully balanced with stunning finesse. A wonderful example of how well Altesino ages. Drink it now!

The 2017 Bourgogne Blanc is bright and racy, with aromas of meyer lemon, white peach and crushed stones. The palate is lively, with plenty of stoney minerals and citrus fruits that persist through the finish.

The 2017 St. Romain begins with lovely aromas of ripe forrest berries, orange peel, flowers and wet stones which all emerge from the glass. On the palate this possesses a silky texture and a ripe core of red berries that expands through the mineral laced finish. This is a forward style Pinot that is drinking fantastic now, but should also cellar nicely for a decade.
