On nose : green pear and Honeydew melon.
On palate: follow through of above notes, with prominent oak , high alcohol ( 14.4%) , with a full body , expressing lemon , ginger and mineral notes , pleasant, but lacking the crispness, complexity and minerality I crave from old world white Bordeaux.....not my style...but it will have it's fans.....not an ager , due to low acidity. More than half was fernented in French barrels, most of which were neutral. Highly aromatic, it flaunts scents of kiwi, lychee, mango and citrus, adding a whiff of grassiness. Light-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.4%) and with flavors mirroring the nose, it has good mid-palate density and finishes long. A bit more fruit-forward than its 2014 sibling, this is another quality offering from a truly quality producer. Enjoy it over the next couple of years. Drink now-2019.
