Nice young barolo. This is light on the palate, and still young enough that it’s mostly primary. Secondary notes are from the earth. Nice balance and a great food wine thats versatile. Age may improve the wine but this isn’t going to be a great wine.

A more feminine expression of Nebbiolo This is lean fruit that pushes to red at opening and darkens with ox. Tannins are still pretty tight and acidity is lithe and clean. Age will benefit the wine for sure. There isn’t much secondary or tertiary going on.

Garnet in color. My first impression of the nose is smell of clams and the sea. A first for a Barolo. Body was on lighter side, Spice, tart cherry on palate. Decent wine .

This wine is starting to shine. The Cannubi pedigree is unmistakable: aromatics of spice, dried roses, and a hint of methanol with smooth and silky tannins rounding out a delightful mouthful of goodness. A bit restrained in the mid palate, but overall delicious.

Very smooth nice bright color and a super lovely wine, nice and dry, not at all acidic and low on tannins. Great buy.
