Bullet proof. Almost seems tannic, it is so dry and nervy. A decade old, and no sign of evolution, I just hope that we're not all sitting there 30 yrs from now saying Oops, screwcaps weren't such a great idea, there's no graceful aging nor gain of complexity! It honestly tastes like it was bottled yesterday. Which is fine, because it is delicious, but at age 10, for almost any wine, as a collector and enthusiast, you'd maybe want to see some evolution, some softening, some complexity. It is frankly a bit frustrating, like a wild card. 5 years? 15 years? 30 years? Never? I wonder if I can unscrew one and cork it and see...I might do that...
Medium pale yellow, beautiful nose of citrus/citrus flowers, with a savoury/saline note - youthful palate is bold, fresh, with the excellent acidity still toward the fore - lots of citrussy fruit, really mouth-filling, with a long, mineral-tinged finish - this will likely age almost indefinitely, and will be majestic in 10-20 years.

hint of petrol on the nose. Bone dry entry & finish - serve this to a newbie who thinks all Rieslings are sweet. Nervy lime, peach, blue stone minerality on a lingering finish. Sublime
