Beautiful nose, well balanced, velvety, long finish, great wine. This is the last bottle I have in my cellar-- and it's a bummer. Really enjoyed the juice. Reliable vineyard/producer. Makes we want to go back to WW.

I was going to hold off drinking another bottle of this wine for another year or so but... . This has improved immensely (for me) since I tried it a year ago. You probably enjoy "big" wines if this is in your cellar so there is no reason not to pop this open and have with a hearty meal. One hour decant. Full of blue and black fruits with a well-balanced core.

(Spring Valley Vineyard Nina Lee Syrah Walla Walla Valley) A light mint aroma on the nose along with pepper, dried herbs, milk chocolate, and dried cherries. Palate is thick and syrupy. Alcohol gets a bit intrusive at times. 100% Syrah. 15.5% alcohol. Sample provided by winery.

10/22/2021 - Ed in Inverness Does not like this wine:
Disappointing. Big, almost porty, alcoholic with medicinal fruit. No smoke, bacon, balsamic, pepper that I look for in aged syrah.

A delicious syrah, with black and blue fruit flavors, smooth and richly textured. Nice finish.

Big, bold, chewy Syrah.
