Amazed that it was still going strong. Very berry fruit, silky legs w a little effervescence. Blown away that a bottle w 17.3% alcohol is still going strong 22 years later.

Huge ripe unapologetic zin from Martinelli
Brash 17.2% sweet, over ripe and wonderful.
Clearly not for everyone, but incredibly fruit forward and ripe at 22 years old like a semi dry port.
Lovely (if you like the style…)

Nose of black cherry, plum, and sage, more of the same on the palate, medium/big body, rich fruit, showing its age, tasty, time to enjoy if you own it, over extracted, and a long finish.

4 years passed its drink window. Appearence the wine had browned but still was clear of sediment. Aromas of raisin, plum and mocha. Alchohol forward but not hot. Taste wise lots of dried fruit flavors
