At Boston Wine & Poker: Tasted blind. I gave myself credit for guessing that this was a white Loire, but subtracted most of that credit for guessing that it was a Savennieres. Right place. Wrong grape. High acidity, which diminished with air. Lean and racy, no heaviness, with a beautiful quince flavor. This is still in its youth. Unless you are an acid freak, save it for a while longer or open it at least two hours before you plan to drink it.

Starting to turn oxidative. Getting that sweet corn nose. The finish is still very tight but the fruit is moving toward the bruised apple and ripe pineapple profile. Drink up!

A nose full of stone, it's grassy, with a little nuttiness, lemon preserves, and cilantro. Broad yet precise on the palate with terrific cut. This has grand cru depth and weight. Powerful and intense, yet mouthwateringly fresh, like licking rocks in a cold stream. More citrus- grapefruit and lemon on the palate and I really like the savory, nutty and grassy herbal notes on the back end. Very long. At peak for me, maybe a little past it for many. The second half of the bottle drunk the next day had lost no steam. Outstanding.

(Didier Dagueneau Pur Sang) Light canary yellow color; intriguing, high-toned, tart stone fruit, mineral, citrus and fresh lime nose; tasty, young yet, tart grapefruit, with cut and minerality; medium-plus finish 93+ pts.

Gold green on opening and a bit mute . Unfurling with air back comes the taffeta texture , lemon curd and honeyed notes on a long dry finish.
