Deep ruby color, youthful nose of black cherry, cedar and tobacco. Tannins are silky but very much alive, and the oak's integrated well. Mouthfeel and finish are excellent--better even than the last one we opened a few months ago. Excellent, and there's still a lot of room on the runway.
Splash decanted to check on sediment--none--and returned to bottle about an hour before service. Rich red color with no browning. Exudes the swoonworthy leathery nose of a perfectly mature California cab with dark cherry and tobacco on the palate with more leather in the finish. Tannins fully resolved. Wow.

Great wine, but had some harsh edges. Surprisingly, might need a few more years in the bottle - seemed like lots of potential. Tannic, too bold and brash, wood on the nose. Drank on Father's Day weekend, with friends, in a vertical with the 91 and 93, and didn't measure up. Here's one friend's comment on the tasting: "And the flight of Pride was lush, velvety, brash, saucy, and had a clean finish on the palate with just the merest touch of refined IMPERTINENCE. (LOL! sorry, couldn't resist)."
