Very pale yellow. Youthful, med(+) aromas of flint, apricot, kumquat, lime, orange. Salt on the palate. Dry, light body, high acidity, med alcohol, long finish. Ripe tree fruits and citrus fruits together with flinty reductive characters. Juicy but complex. Very well made.

While not my typical go to varietal, I do enjoy the white wines from Grgich-Hills. But this not like other SBs on flavors. Very light golden color, crystal clear. Bright citrus, lemon, with hint of nutmeg nose. Quick burst of acidity and flavor within slight effervescence. Lemon/ lime and grapefruit flavors fade into more citrus rind and hint of earthy oak, vanilla, and nutmeg on finish. One taster commented that thous is not bright, crisp, acidity SB typically from NZL or Australia
