  There's some nice spiced pear and tropical flavours and a pleasant textured mouthfeel, but at 15% the alcohol is overpowering and it's hard to appreciate anything else about the wine.
  
  Not sure if that might blow off somewhat with a long decant or integrate with time in bottle, but as it was I found this wine impossible to enjoy and after two glasses to see if it changed after opening most of the bottle went down the sink.
