enjoyed this, as others mention sort of like a SB but not quite, definite petrol a bit on the finish. Went well with thai food. Will compare to the Marquis Phillips Holly's blend which is half the price as the 'dooker.

This Verdalho (a Portuguese grape) showed a great nose of wet stone, citrus and apple. On the palette the wine was an explosion of tropical fruits and pineapple, with a very smooth texture and a great finish. This was my first time having this but definitely will not be the last! Was a great wine for the food, especially with a chimichanga. (Also posted on foodandwineblog.com)

My first MD wine....very tropical with pineapple, white peach fruit; big dose of bone dry alcohol, intense crisp citrus acidity and minerals. Nice floral spice, some gingerbread, lemon tarts, banana liqueur. The alcohol heat is WAY too much...does try to cream it up some, and I like the waxiness...but the burn is there on the finish. Reminds me of a cross between a Conundrum and a bone dry Pinot Grigio. This is a cocktail wine for sure. I like it, just wish it had less alc.

Stealth Wines: Lesser-Known Varietals (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had lemon, lime, mango, and banana. The palate was crisp, and had pineapple, mango, lime, and banana peel.
