Slightly closed but opened up after a couple of hours. Strawberry and cherry nose. Taste is tertiary: tobacco and forest floor with just a hint of red cherry. Tannins nicely balanced. Good acidity. Very pleasant but lacks wow factor.

A classic Brunello. The nose is alive with fruit - plum, strawberry with muted scents of tomato, pencil shavings, tobacco and oregano. Om the palate, the fruits are more muted and tomato, cherry, plum and oregano shine forth. The tannins are nicely integrated and it is drinking well now. It would be nice to try this again in a couple of years, but, alas, this is my last bottle.

Aging very quickly. This was largely tertiary, lots of tobacco notes. Acidity was still there so it wasn't stewed or unpleasant, but a real lack of fruit. Tannins are near fully resolved. Did open a bit with air, but not especially. Probably should have been drunk a couple years ago to get the fruit, if you have it, drink up.

Leather, warm cedar, dried cherries, orange peel pro intensity,
Palate anise, eucalyptus, juniper, red cherry, tobacco, slate, cinnamon ALC burn a touch hot, lean with m+ acid still
Precise, linear in style rather than voluptuous

Earthy, dirt. Lots of pepper, very balanced. Slight red fruit on the finish. Vanilla on the finish and get more fruit, but no sweetness.
