  A rather ubiquitous white, but still a pleasant start to our Torbreck Wine dinner with the AsiaEuro team in Sabayon at EQ!
  
  Andrew Tierney, the Torbreck Vintners exports head and host of the event, reminded us that this 2022 Semillon had only been bottled 3 weeks before the event! Yes my first 2022 vintage of any varietal this year.
  
  The weight grew in this wine, in a good way, and kind of reminded me of a full body-like Chardonnay. Nice buttery notes as well as moderate wax made this all the better too.
