Austere nose of steel and flour, with hints of preserved lemon. Full-bodied, oily palate, with sweet flavours of lemon and melon over an earthy white mushroom note. The finish has a dry and chalky character, but the sweet lemon flavour sticks around.

Chalky nose with a barnyard character, low in acid, but a long fruit-driven finish.

Torbreck tasting with founder/winemaker Dave Powell (Park Hyatt Zurich): Light yellow. Discrete nose of citrus, almond and bakery. On the palate good balance but aromatically a bit harmless yet solid for an every day wine offering.

Crisp and clean with citrus but not layered or full of depth. May have been a touch too cold.
