  Cork kind of crumbled . Poured into a carafe and nose had some cooked notes, as this was brought to a restaurant to open it was fairly cloudy. Let it sit for a bit, no cooked notes on the wine- took a half hour for the sweet fruit to come center stage, with some herbs. On the downhill side but I enjoyed this bottle very much

This wine is very classic Bordeaux in style. All old leather and cigar and library. A touch more tired (which is true even when you source directly from the winery from what I can tell). I think these didn't age quite as well as some of their compatriots unfortunately. It is an interesting counterpoint though so some of the other wines.
