Decanted for an hour. Showing so well and open, with a flowing persona. Blackberries, dried lilacs, cassis, wet earth and cedar. Long and well layered. Silky tannins. The finish glides along without a bump. She is amazingly complex, and like the ‘98 is more androgynous. No reason to rush, not to wait. More of a Saint Julian version than Pauillac, as it is right there on the border. This chateau can deliver stunning quality during all strange vintages. Drink now - 2039.

Dark purple Tobacco, leather hints of vanilla, black fruit Ripe black plum, blackberries, and some pepper Full-bodied, rich and smooth texture, medium high acidity, fine tannins, dry and rich

A big Bordeaux wine. Had it over 2 days and it was better day1. Mayby will aproved with more ageing but I think its in a great place now. More delicate than powerful. We have it to filé of reindeer and its a very good match.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of black fruits, cassis, vanilla, toast, spices. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Long finish. Full bodied. Already entering its drinking window. Will improve with aging.
