Popped and poured. Upon opening, the wine was completely tertiary showing all forest floor and autumnal notes. With 30 minutes of air, notes of cedar and dark fruits almost magically appear. The wine even seems to gain weight. The wine somehow becomes more complete and satisfying. This is on the decline but still enjoyable with about an hour of air.

Passed its peak The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune and plum. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity.

Fun. Obviously far past its prime, but still had a little life remaining. Smelled way too wonderful to have the palate match :) Had alongside 76 Margaux (best) and 75 Latour (flawed) at Troquet in Boston. Drink up already!

Past its prime. Very little acidity and initially somewhat sharp to the taste. Opened up after decanting and with time and finished very pleasantly.Deep prune and plum nose,Texture was good. Sorry I did not open it 2 years ago.

Still enjoyable, but over the hill and lacking any oomph. Either way, fun and interesting.
