A more sophisticated and delicate RunRig. Some of the inherent bigness of the RunRig is tempered in a delightful way while still preserving the Australian Torbreck nature. Lots of berries.

boy, this is expensive! pretty on the nose, subtle fruits, touch of violets? dark in colour. lovely balance on palate. fresh, fruity with no obvious tannins present.

Torbreck Tasting (North Sydney Cellars): Served next to the 2010 RunRig, this is amplified in almost every aspect. Cocoa, ground coffee, outrageously floral perfume, blackcurrant and raspberry aromas. The layers of fruit are amazingly dense but they have real definition and texture to them, saving the wine from being one dimensional. Outstanding length and a great experience to taste it.
