Tasted with similar age Constant Diamond Mtn cabernet, this was dazzling, not as forward, bright or vibrant as the more expressive Constant, more subdued but full, round, perfectly balanced, elegant and polished. Dark garnet colored, medium-full bodied, complex black fruits with earthiness, truffles, dark mocha chocolate, hints of mint on a moderate, smooth tannin laced lingering finish. https://unwindwine.blogspot.com/2021/11/diamond-mountain-cabernet-duo.html

this bottle got three hours of air in the AM, then back to bottle, then had after dinner at about 8pm and was awesome... even after the initial AM decant it was still a little closed, but packed a nice punch while not being overwhelming late in the night... red and purple fruit in abundance, med acidity to provide some balance, and felt like some minerality or mountain fruit edge for add'l balance... nice

Pop and pour and it seemed ready so cork back back in and let it it slo-ox until dinner.
Bountiful nose of cassis, leather, fresh and dried flowers. Aged balsamic strawberry reduction with dried cedar and mineral lift added on the palate. Food friendly balance and seamless passing to a long finish.
For me this is ready and I don’t think I’ll wait more than 1-2 years on others.
Fantastic, 96+.

Nose is a mix of cedar, wet rocks, cigar box and a hint of cassis. Perfect amount of fruit... It's present but not overwhelming. Full bodied, with mellow tannins but quite bright acidity. This was complex and impeccably balanced. Best cab I've drunk for a while. 14.1% abv.

Evidence of what a great winery can do even in an off year. Deep garnet color. Earthy Bordeaux nose. This came in second only to a 2002 Constant Cabernet in an otherwise pretty spectacular tasting.
