  The bouquet opens with notes of mixed red and black fruits, earth and barrel spice. On the palate there are dark fruit flavors of blackberry accented by minerality and spice.

  Appearance - Light garnet color, clear at edge, reflective, good body/legs - 3/3
  Aroma/Bouquet - Cherry, leather, slight strawberry, slight oak/vanilla - 5/6
  Taste - Cherry, oak/vanilla, light minerality, light tannins/alcohol - 5/6
  Aftertaste - Mid length finish, cherry continues, tannins fade nicely - 3/3
  Overall - Good complex wine with balanced fruit/tannin/mineral - 2/2
