Not the most aromatically expressive Cab Franc, but very clean and fruit-forward. Youthful aromas of red fruits (strawberry, cherry, raspberry) and some slight soil tones, with flavors that follow the nose with a slightly darker fruit profile (ie. dark plum). Refreshing acidity and lower tannins make this easy to drink. Didn't have the complexity driven by earthiness, pyrazines, and floral notes that I usually look for in Loire Cab Francs, and overall the intensity was pretty moderate. Very clean and well made, but not exciting. A simple, light-to-medium-bodied old-world red to enjoy casually with or without food.
