  What MRICHMAN said. A nearly perfect example of what you want from this wine. 2014 was ripe enough in the Loire but not a warm one, so you get just ripe enough fruit, great phenolic development and typicity. If you like these wines, you'll like this wine.
  
  Label abv 12-14%. I'd guess 13%.
  
  Nice to sip on its own and a very nice pairing with a hearty vegetable soup of Rancho Gordo hidatsa red beans (made with parmesan rind; the soup wasn't particularly vegetal, but had nice depth and a bit of smokiness to it)
